Membership Terms

1. Introduction
These Membership Terms apply to all memberships offered by Play Padel Club Ltd, trading as Play Padel Club: Deal (“the Club”).
Memberships are purchased via the Club’s website and are governed by these Membership Terms, the Club’s Terms & Conditions, and Privacy Policy.
The Club uses Playtomic as its court booking and benefit administration platform. Membership benefits are configured and applied within Playtomic by the Club, but Playtomic is not the contractual provider of the membership.
2. Membership Structure
2.1 The Club offers different membership types, including but not limited to:
Premium Membership
Priority Membership
Play Membership
2.2 Each membership is personal and linked to a named individual.
2.3 Membership benefits (including discounts, booking priority and access windows) are configured by the Club and linked to the member’s Playtomic account.
2.4 Membership benefits are only valid while the membership is active.
3. Registration & Activation
3.1 Memberships are registered via the Club’s website.
3.2 Upon activation, the Club links the membership to the member’s Playtomic account.
3.3 Members are responsible for using the correct Playtomic account.
3.4 Membership benefits become active once the linkage in Playtomic has been completed.
3.5 Temporary technical issues within Playtomic do not suspend membership obligations, including payment obligations.
4. Contract Types, Duration & Renewal
4.1 The Club offers two contract types:
A) Standard Membership – minimum duration: three (3) months
B) Flex Membership – minimum duration: one (1) month
4.2 After the minimum duration, memberships continue on an ongoing basis unless cancelled in accordance with these Terms.
4.3 Membership benefits remain active until the membership is validly terminated.
5. Cancellation & Notice Period
5.1 Memberships may be cancelled after the minimum contract duration, subject to a thirty (30) day notice period.
5.2 Memberships run in fixed monthly periods, starting on the day of activation and renewing automatically for successive monthly periods unless valid notice is given.
5.3 Cancellation must be submitted in writing via: member@playpadelclub.co.uk.
5.4 The thirty (30) day notice period starts on the day the cancellation email is received by the Club.
5.5 Cancellation will only take effect at the end of a membership period that follows the expiry of the 30-day notice period.
5.6 Membership fees remain payable in full for the ongoing membership period and any subsequent period falling within the notice period. No pro-rata refunds or partial-month adjustments apply.
5.7 Cancellations submitted via Playtomic or any other channel will not be accepted.
5.8 Membership benefits remain active during the notice period unless suspended due to misuse or non-payment.
5.9 No refunds are provided for paid membership fees.
6. Membership Communication
6.1 All communication relating to memberships, including but not limited to:
registrations
cancellations
contract changes
pauses due to injury or illness
questions regarding benefits or membership status
must be submitted exclusively via: member@playpadelclub.co.uk
6.2 Communication sent via Playtomic or any other channel will not be considered valid for membership-related matters.
6.3 It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that communication is sent from a valid email address and received within any applicable notice periods.
6.4 Members are advised to retain proof of sending for all membership-related communication.
7. Pricing & Price Changes
7.1 Membership pricing is communicated at the time of registration.
7.2 The Club reserves the right to adjust membership fees and court prices with reasonable notice.
7.3 Founder memberships may include temporary pricing or benefits, as explicitly communicated.
8. Bookings & Playtomic
8.1 Court bookings are made via Playtomic.
8.2 Booking privileges depend on an active membership status.
8.3 The Club reserves the right to modify, suspend or revoke Playtomic booking privileges if:
a membership ends or is cancelled
payments are overdue
misuse is identified
8.4 Playtomic operates solely as a technical platform and does not determine membership entitlement.
9. Fair Use & Misuse
9.1 Memberships are personal and non-transferable.
9.2 Misuse includes, but is not limited to:
sharing accounts or benefits
circumventing booking rules
repeated late cancellations or no-shows
abuse of discounts or privileges
9.3 In cases of misuse, the Club may restrict, suspend or terminate membership benefits without refund.
10. Pausing Membership (Injury or Illness)
10.1 Memberships may be paused in cases of injury or illness, subject to Club approval.
10.2 Pause requests must be submitted in writing.
10.3 Founder or promotional periods will not be extended due to pauses unless explicitly stated.
11. Termination by the Club
11.1 The Club reserves the right to terminate a membership with immediate effect in cases of:
serious misconduct
breach of Club rules
repeated misuse
11.2 Termination does not entitle the member to a refund.
12. Changes to Memberships
12.1 The Club may amend membership structures, benefits or rules from time to time.
12.2 Material changes will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.
12.3 Continued use of membership benefits constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
13. Governing Law
These Membership Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
